VALCAMPUS
VALCAMPUS : The 1st French training center dedicated to specialised plants
Created in January 2006, the VALCAMPUS association develops genuine cooperation between public and private establishments. Valcampus has the ambitious project of making Angers the first European advanced training site for specialised plant sciences (training in plant science, technology, and economics).
The 8 Valcampus establishments :
- 2 engineering schools :
- 2 universities :
- 3 technical and private colleges (Advanced Technician's certificate, training and work-based degrees)
- 1 research establishment
Students and custom training courses:
- 2,500 students of specialised plants
- 25 advanced training courses from diplomas to post-doctoral (list of training courses on offer)
And other schools too
The cluster's projects also cover topics requiring different skills for example: sales, logistics, business process.
Thus, depending on the subject, other further education establishments in the Region such as ESSCA (Angers Higher School of Commercial Sciences), ESEO (Western France Higher School of Electronics), ENSAM (Arts et Métiers - National Higher School of Arts and Crafts), Pétré Lycée, the Catholic University of the West : Institute of Applied Mathematics are associated with the Centre's projects.
