These revolve around four technological axes:

• Innovation and creation of plant varieties
• Sanitary quality of seeds and plants
• Plants and health/well being (the antioxidant properties of plants)
• Urban landscape,

Since its creation, VEGEPOLYS has certified 100 projects in the following categories:

• The cooperative innovative projects including at least 2 companies and a research laboratory and contributing to improve the competitiveness of partner companies.  (Central government and Pays de la Loire regional fund)
• The academic projects contributing to the corpus of useful upstream knowledge that can be used on the mid or long term by the companies of the cluster. Regional fund and ANR (national agency of research)
• The individual projects of innovation of companies (OSEO Fund)

Some of these are already enjoying financial backing;

VEGEPOLYS helps the emergence of collaborative projects and gives a technical support to these projects, from the setting up to the label process and execution.
